Dr. Donna Matney
Dr. Matney was born and raised in central California amongst oil and agricultural fields. She attended Cal State University Bakersfield and UC Santa Barbara receiving her Bachelor degrees in Biology and Chemistry in 1991. She continued her studies at the Southern California College of Optometry receiving her doctorate of Optometry in 1995. She moved to Seattle in 1995 and started her practice in the Bellevue area where she’s continued to practice for over 20 years.
She is also a writer and has a degree in design. She lives in Issaquah with her two daughters, two dogs and a frog. She and her daughters enjoy camping, crabbing/fishing, hikes, geocaching and working in their garden where 65% of what they attempt to grow either dies or is eaten by crows and raccoons.
Dr. Mina Fordyce
A Washington state native, Dr. Mina Fordyce grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Interlake High School. She performed her undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. From there, she returned to the Pacific Northwest to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry. During her optometric training, she completed internships at Eye Care Associates of Nevada, San Diego Naval Hospital, and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Bellevue.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fordyce enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
Dr. Chidinma Odoemenem
Dr. Chidinma Odoemenem is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX. She completed a residency program in primary care optometry with a focus on ocular disease management. She has varied patient care experience in diverse settings, both nationally and internationally. She has a strong interest in helping underserved populations which has culminated in her organizing outreaches in her local community. Dr. Odoemenem who has experience in diabetic education enjoys managing diabetic patients, patients with glaucoma and retinal diseases. She also enjoys managing dry eye disease and its many forms. In her free time, she loves to travel, garden, and spend time with her family. Dr. Odoemenem lives in the greater Seattle area with her husband and two kids.
